Earlier this month, Knotts Berry Farm filed a $6.2 million law suit against Japanese coaster manufacturer TOGO for alleged defects in the coaster that have made the ride a continuing maintenance problem.
Among other problems, the dual-track racing coaster has to be shut down in the most minor windy conditions because of the threat of rollbacks (train can not complete circuit and stops between two hills).
The coaster has been closed since March 3. Check out the full story in the Orange County Register. Congratulations to Lance Hart from Screamscape for being quoted in the article.
