Let's just get to it with the press release from Paramount's Kings Dominion: Lightning strikes the Eiffel Tower. Paramount's Kings Dominion goes dark as ghostly fog rolls across the familiar fountains and haunting music fills the air. Ghastly creatures lurk in the darkened corridors of International Street when FearFest grips Paramount's Kings Dominion every Friday and Saturday night in October as the park transforms for the first time ever into a horrifying expanse of shock, dread and terror!

As darkness descends on the 400-acre theme park, eerie activities for adventurous guests will begin. Haunted attractions include 3 horrifying mazes featuring The Freezer! FearFest's coolest attraction! The icy, steel walls of this asylum entrance are guarded by butchers, who apparently have just completed a day's work. Chain link and mirrors compose this most challenging maze. Don't be surprised if you NEVER find your way out! But, fear not. They're sure to send something in to find you.

Guests can explore 2 frightening fear zones - if they dare! Many more horrible haunted attractions and menacing monsters await along with the thrilling rides that make Kings Dominion famous! Many with an added FearFest twist! Don't miss classic coasters like the Rebel Yell, Shockwave, The Grizzly, The Hurler and the new HyperSonic XLC that will scream through FearFest nights in despairing darkness.

"There's a great demand for Halloween themed events in this area and FearFest promises to be the biggest and scariest of them all with the emphasis on frightening fun," said Paramount's Kings Dominion Executive Vice President and General Manager Richard Zimmerman.

The attractions in FearFest are designed to be frightening. As a result, the event is not recommended for children under 12 or anyone who doesn't enjoy getting scared. The nightmarish activities take place on Friday and Saturday nights, 7 p.m. until midnight, beginning October 5 and continuing through October 27.
