It will take several weeks to complete the state investigation into a malfunctioning ride at Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom that cut off a 13-year-old girl's feet, officials said. Kaitlyn Lasitter had her feet severed above the ankles by a cable that broke when she was on the ride June 21. Officials don't know why the cable broke.
