Jury awards $1.5 million to woman with pre-existing injuries after 2008 Coney Island Cyclone ride

A Brooklyn jury has awarded $1.5 million to a woman who claimed she was seriously injured riding the iconic Cyclone roller coaster in Coney Island, the Daily News has learned. The jury gave the payout last week to Paula Noone, 52, an artist from Tucson, Ariz., despite finding that she was 60% at fault for what happened on June 12, 2008.
