Investors want to build rock and roll amusement park in Arizona

Named 'Decades,' the year-round rock and roll theme park is designed to encompass water rides, roller coasters, a concert arena, and luxury hotel. Investors purchased about 240 acres almost a year ago between Shedd and Houser roads, abutting Eleven Mile Corner Road for the $800 million project. Another 60 acres is in reserve for expansion.
