IAAPA will induct several people into the IAAPA 2001 Hall of Fame today, including Bill Koch of Holiday World and Wilbert Morey of Morey's Piers, both credited with the advancement of the industry and the outstanding development of their own properties.

Bill Koch, who recently passed away, was an active member of IAAPA who is credited as a leader in the development of the association's educational programs. He is best known to the public as the father of Santa Claus, Indiana, and the park that he founded there, Santa Claus Land (now Holiday World).

Wilbert Morey owned the Morey Development Company, credited with developing many of the hotels around his New Jersey amusement piers. His additions to the piers included restaurants, water slides, rides and the Sea Serpent roller coaster.
