French wheel may be coming down

A Ferris Wheel erected for the Paris millennium celebration was erected in December of 1999 and scheduled to be taken down at the end of 2000. Its permit was extended to the end of 2001. Now the owner wants to operate for another year, but the city wants it taken down.
