Former Cypress Gardens workers hope for new start with Legoland Florida

While Legoland Florida's management pays careful deference to Cypress Gardens' legacy, it won't be swayed by sentiment in its hiring decisions. It has received more than 6,000 online applications for those 800 positions, and former Cypress Gardens employees don't necessarily get preference, Legoland spokeswoman Jackie Wallace said.
