Former animal trainer delivers Marineland petition

The man who has become the face of the opposition to the treatment of animals at Marineland delivered 76,000 signatures to Queen's Park Monday. Phil Demers, a former Marineland trainer who went public last month with allegations of poor water conditions and the mistreatment of the sea mammals at the Niagara Falls amusement park, brought boxes of papers filled with signatures to the provincial legislature in hopes of delivering them to Premier Dalton McGuinty.
