Busch Gardens Europe has submitted obscure preliminary plans to James City County's planning department to expand the park by five buildings and "various guest attractions and theming." No details have been released, but nothing will be torn down to make room for the new area. The plans submitted to the county show a 1 1/2 -acre site with at least five buildings, but the documents do not indicate any spots for new rides. The area is to the left of the park entrance. It was once used for a petting zoo, and is between Escape From Pompeii in Italy and the skyride in England.
