Family owned company in Lakeland, Florida makes wheels for amusement parks

Maclan Corp. has made its reputation on the polyurethane wheels it designs and refurbishes for the amusement sector. Lane estimates the company produces more than 50,000 wheels a year. Those signature items include wheels for roller coasters and water flumes. Products for the amusement industry also include water ride pulleys, flotation collars, rubber bumpers, aluminum hubs and wheels used in ride-support mechanisms.
