Elitch Gardens owner looking at developing parking lot land

The local investment team backed by billionaire Stan Kroenke that bought Elitch Gardens in 2015 sees potential in the sea of parking lots between the downtown amusement park and Speer Boulevard. The 1,800 spaces are part of one of the largest swaths of surface parking that remain in downtown Denver as lots of all sizes been developed.
