Louisville businessman Ed Hart, who hopes to reopen the shuttered Kentucky Kingdom amusement park in 2014, is "very encouraged" with what he's seen during an initial assessment of the venue and believes his plan to revitalize it will finally happen. Hart said he and his management team have been on the site for about a week, taking their first serious look at the 100 buildings and 40 rides on the nearly 60-acre property.
