Eastern European workers fill in gaps at seasonal attractions

Summer employers increasingly rely on university students from Eastern Europe to fill their jobs. The reason is apparent right now. As August wanes, U.S. students have put down their ice cream scoops and headed back to school. To stretch the moneymaking season, seasonal resorts have turned to foreign students, who can stay well past Labor Day before they need to return to school.
