Early Disney Imagineer dies

Sam McKim, an artist who drew the first souvenir maps of Disneyland in 1954 and preliminary sketches for many Disney theme-park rides, has died at age 79. His designs influenced midways at Disneyland, Magic Kingdom, Epcot and Disneyland Paris.
