Activity will soon increase at the park in preparation for its upcoming reopening, according to Rick Dantzler, a former Florida legislator and attorney, who has recently been hired by the park's owners.
"There are several scenarios the owners are kicking around," Dantzler said, referring to Brian Philpot and Rob Harper, who purchased Cypress Gardens through a bankruptcy sale for $16.8 million in September 2007.
