By the time Cypress Gardens reopens as Cypress Gardens Adventure Park with three dozen new thrill rides, kids will be back in school and the peak summer season will be over. The deal to buy the park took too long, buildings had to be razed or re-roofed and utility maps in the areas where coaster foundations would be were incomplete.
