The Conneaut Lake Joint Municipal Authority's board of directors on Wednesday unanimously rejected a $200,000 bid for nearly $900,000 in debts owed to it by the 117-year-old resort and amusement park. The authority had put the debt up for sale in April in an effort to recoup money that the park owed on four liens for unpaid sewer bills, and on a mortgage note obtained to repair the park's sewer system in 2003.
