The death of a 7-year-old girl on a Westchester County amusement park ride may have been caused when she knelt on the seat and then fell, the park's director said Sunday. The girl, Stephanie Dieudonne, of New Rochelle, died at about 6:45 p.m. Saturday at Playland Amusement Park in Rye. She had been in a car of the Mind Scrambler, a spider-shaped ride covered by a tent.
