Cedar Fair (NYSE: FUN), a leader in regional amusement parks, water parks and active entertainment, today announced that its unitholders elected D. Scott Olivet and re-elected Eric L. Affeldt and John M. Scott, III to the Board of Directors of its general partner, Cedar Fair Management, Inc., for three-year terms expiring in 2016.
The limited partners also confirmed the appointment of Deloitte & Touche LLP as the Company's independent registered public accounting firm and approved an advisory vote on the compensation of the Company's named executive officers.

"We are equally pleased to retain Eric Affeldt as our independent Chairman of the Board and John Scott as the Chair of our Governance Committee. Olivet, 50, brings more than 25 years of experience in retail, merchandising, marketing, finance, strategy, technology, international business and multi-division general management. Currently, he serves as the chief executive officer of Renegade Brands and the executive chairman of RED Digital Cinema. Mr. Olivet has also served as chief executive officer and director of Oakley and was a partner with Bain & Company where he was the leader of the worldwide practice in organizational effectiveness and change management.
