Cedar Fair gets antitrust approval for Paramount Parks buy

Amusement-park operator Cedar Fair L.P. received antitrust clearance from the Federal Trade Commission to acquire Paramount Parks Inc. from CBS Corp. for $1.24 billion in cash. The agency said it granted early termination Tuesday of the waiting period required under the Hart-Scott-Rodino Antitrust Improvements Act.
