Birmingham May Cut Off VisionLand

A Birmingham City Council committee recommended Monday that the city stop its annual $1 million payments to VisionLand because the park is not making money. Park officials have hired an international marketing agency to search out buyers. Birmingham is one of several municipalities that contributes money to the park's operation annually.
