Alton Towers wants to control rain

After the summer deluge sparked a dip in visitors to Alton Towers, bosses say they are working on plans to make the 500-acre site rain-free. They want to use a rain-seeding technique that encourages the heavens to open long before the threatening cumulonimbus gets too close to the theme park.
