Alleged shooter at CityWalk in Hollywood shot dead by police

A gunman opened fire in a crowd at the Universal CityWalk before he was shot and killed by police, authorities said Monday. James Renee White Jr., 21, was pronounced dead at the scene after the 1:15 a.m. shooting, police said.
