Adventureland fined by Iowa OSHA after worker hit by roller coaster car

Adventureland Park has been fined more than $37,000 by the Iowa Occupational Safety and Health Administration after an employee was struck by a car in August while working on the Dragon roller coaster. The unnamed worker was performing a biweekly oiling routine Aug. 5 when a co-worker released the train car, according to citation documents.
