Accidental shooting trial of Wild West City actor starting after nearly six years

The on-again, off-again, on-again Wild West City trial has been scheduled for jury selection Tuesday — six years after the accidental shooting of a cowboy actor and barring any last-minute postponements from a pending appeal or plea bargain discussions. An attorney representing Scott Harris, a former Netcong resident who was left paralyzed on his right side and still has a bullet lodged in his brain, said on Friday that family members have been notified daily about any changes in the schedule and expect the trial to start on schedule.
