Zoning Board Votes-can the public attend???

Since the Agawam Zoning Board will be voting on SFNE's new coaster on thursday, I would like to attend to find out what the vote turns out to be and to report back to any people who might be curious, as to if it passed approval. Does anyone know if the public is allowed to attend these votes?
Im pretty sure you should be able to go, when SFWOA had a meeting a while back with the Aurora board, Chip Wood from refreshinglook went.

In most places, the only time they can meet privately is in executive session, and even then it's only when they're talking about litigation, purchasing property or some kind of human resources issue.

So yes, I would think you could attend the meeting.

You need to find out if your state has something similar to "Sunshine Laws" that dictate that meetings must be advertised and open to residents.
