I agree with Brett. I found the ride to be totally uninteresting and a net negative experience. Not much intensity, not much speed and anytime it did start to try something interesting, it would be accompanied by serious headbanging. The horrible reliability and capacity didn't help either.

Did ANYONE who rode "pre-OTSRs" have a negative experience?

My *understanding* is that the retrofits (by Wieland, not to be confused with Wiegand) were ALL detrimental to the ride itself...

I rode it when it was at SFAW. I Liked it, the first drop was nice, with decent speed overall. I came off the ride a little light-headed because it was kinda of rough, sort of like a Traveling Fair Coaster.
