Zinga gets a design change

Friday, January 17, 2003 10:59 AM

What was once "half" is now "whole."

ProSlide has decided to enhance Zinga by enclosing the huge funnel at the end of the water ride.

The fiberglass has started arriving and in just a few months, the huge blue funnel -- six stories tall -- will be assembled next to ZOOMbabwe.

If you'd like to take a look, I've posted a new Zinga graphic at http://www.holidayworld.com/WaterPark/Zingadesign.html.

And don't forget...Saturday morning breakfast and Zinga ERT at Stark RAVEN Mad!

Thanks, Paula

I might need that funnel the next time I add oil to my 150-story car. ;)

Is the design change just to add to the wow factor or is there something more to why ProSlide made the change? Either way it looks very cool now :)

Olov,

It's probably a little safety factor after Paula told them about last SRM with four adults in Zoombabwe :) ...(imagining tube flying off of what was the top edge of the "half pipe)...

ROFL Den. Either that, or can you imagine doing beer (or your favorite non-alcoholic beverage) funneling with that gigantor?? :)

Brian, I thought we gave up *funnels* after college....the only use for them now is the *intended* use....FUNNEL CAKES!

Paula - any chance a tube of ACErs would have enough speed to make it all the way around?

LOL!

So, is the name supposed to sound ghetto? Well whatever, the ride sounds like a ton of fun!! SIX STORIES?! How many feet is that?

A story is 10 feet. 6 stories is 60 feet.......

Wow. It goes to show what masterful creations severely warped minds can unleash. That is gorgeous. Anyone have any saliva cleaner?
