Me too! I can't wait to ride. What were the lines were like in the water park last year for the ERT?

Oh My Gosh! That looks so neat! I can't wait for ERT on that thing at SRM!
That thing looks hilarious! I can't wait to ride it!

My fiancee is not a huge fan of water slides, but I think she's going to love this one! It looks awesome. This SRM is going to be incredible...

Have you ridden a Toboggan?

Can't compare lines from last year's water-park ERT, as last year, we only had ZOOMbabwe open.

We were all stunned when 500 groggy enthusiasts showed up to ride (and eat breakfast)!

So this year, we'll have ZOOMbabwe, Otorongo, and Zinga open for the morning ERT.

See you soon! Paula

Speaking of lines, Paula, how is registration shaping up? From the buzz on this board it sounds like you're going to have quite a few more people this year at SRM. Is that the case?

Zinga looks truly awesome. I thought a while back that an observation area over the funnel would be a nice touch, and there it is! Let's just hope people don't take to throwing things down the funnel just for kicks. Oh wait, I forgot, HW isn't Six Flags.

The drop into the funnel looks to be wicked cool Perhaps it'll have airtime, even?

Wheee! Only 9 days!!

Looks like many people at SRM will be "wetting their pants" next weekend. Pun intended.

(Lets just hope its only water.)

OMG that looks fun! Damn I wish I was going to SRM this year! At least I'll hopefully get to try this ride at SFNE in three weeks...

Just so you know...it's not the same ride. The "funnel" portion is the same, but the water slide portions are different. Our tower is 8 stories tall.

As for SRM registration, pre-registration was up some, but not alarmingly so. :)

See you soon! Paula

This is my first SRM, but darn it if I don't want the park to myself...;) Well.....outside of my friends. I have never ridden those puppies after dark (only had 1 ride on each), and I long for the waterparks excitement on Saturday. I know that rain or shine, this will be a hit!

Holy crapola! Sony might be the ultimate destination!
I saw we pay off the ride ops Friday night and get our own Cbuzz ERT from 11 - 1 am.

Morning will come early Saturday, that's for sure.

One thing about SRM is the listed ending time is NEVER the real end time. LOL!

hey why is it that the funnel starts off soo tall? i could understand them wanting to enclose it and make it a full circle, but why so big? do you go up that high? it just seems like a waste of money.

Even so, they will stay late for us, right Paula? ;)

Turbo: Sometimes money isn't everything. The ride just wouldn't look right or have the same pyscological effect if it were left open.

Turbo,

Why would you say it's a waste of money?

Did you ever think that a) structurally, it might be stronger as a complete circle? b) It just looks that much cooler and more awe inspiring seeing that funnel sit six stories off the ground?
