Zierer Rides

I was on the Kennywood Connection website, and they were talking about the flying carpet. I've tried to get on the Zierer website lately and it hasn't been working. On the Kennywood Connection site, someone said Zierer is going bankrupt or already did. If this is true, who will not be manufactoring the great rides like the Wave Swinger and fund rides like that? Thanks for your help.
Oh, Zamperla, Chance, etc....

The word "definitely" is definitely the most misspelled word on the buzz.
Screamscape had a story recently that they had filed for the German equivalent of Ch. 11 protection. Doesn't mean the company went out of business yet.

Hopefully Zierer will be able to sort through their problems, but if for some reason they can't, there are others that make similar rides.

As far as swings go, Zamperla's Flying Carousel is the closest thing to a Wave Swinger. There's also the Chance Yo-Yo, which gives a different ride than the Zierer and Zamperla models.

Alternatives for the Flying Carpet include the Huss Rainbow and the Zamperla Joker. There's also the Chance Falling Star, though it appears that Chance is no longer making them. I'm sure there are a few used ones available, though, if a park really wanted one.

Vekoma has a swing ride as well, generically it is called a swinging carousel. Elitch's has the only one in the U.S. it is called Turn of the Century.
Really? Wow, I've never heard of that. Are there any pics of it anywhere?
