Cybersquatting bastards. The thing is, Zamperla is a registered trademark, so if they follow the ridiculous procedure setup for disputing domain names, they can get it for free if they're paying attention.

Well the funniest thing to me is...what would you do with it? The idea behind cybersquatting and/or registering confusing or trademarked names is to cause confusion.

Ok so I got Zamperla.com - what the heck am I going to stick there!? It's hilarious. Can I trick people into thinking I'm a ride manufacturer? Why, unless I am another ride manufacturer and if I was then why would I want visitors to think I was Zamperla. The whole thing makes no sense.

Basically I think it's someone who thought they'd make a buck selling it back to Zamperla and got burned. Now what do you do with a domain name that's meaningless except to one company? You try to pawn it off on another moron who thinks they can do the same thing!

Almost as funny as Jim Serio thinking he could get 50 grand for rollercoaster.com...

Heh, that's about the only niche they haven't gone after yet. Poor unsuspecting park managers everywhere who just want a nice new addition to the park will be the latest victims.

Could give a whole new meaning to the term "flat ride" though... ;)
