Zamperla installing three rides at reimagined Camp Snoopy at Knott's Berry Farm

From Knott's official site:

An off-road adventure, a new family roller coaster, a giant swing, and the carefree fun of summer camp bring so much to explore starting in 2024 at Knott’s Berry Farm next summer. Check out these exciting details about the six-acre, reimagined Camp Snoopy, the place where the iconic PEANUTS Gang made its first debut outside the comic strip back when it opened in 1983.

Inspired by the California High Sierras, Camp Snoopy allows campers of all ages to become full-fledged Beagle Scouts as they explore new rides, new character experiences, new entertainment, a new dining hall, camp store, plus more seating and ambiance.

From the Zamperla press release:

Knott’s Berry Farm announced the addition of several new Zamperla attractions for Camp SnoopyTM. These include:

  1. Snoopy’s Tenderpaw Twister Coaster: Family Coaster 155
  2. Sally’s Swing Along: Super Happy Swing 16
  3. Camp Snoopy’s Off-Road Rally: Convoy Dino Jeeps

“Experiencing first rides and first theme park moments as a family, is what Knott’s is all about,” said Jon Storbeck, vice president and general manager. “Our newly reimagined Camp Snoopy will allow parents and kids to ride and play together and be truly immersed in a summer camp experience right alongside the entire Peanuts Gang.”

Snoppy driving the lead car on the coaster is pretty freaking cute.

At the new Camp Snoopy Theater, campers will gather under a giant, new rustic-beamed theater, filled with log benches for seating that surround a large firepit at the base of the stage.

The firepit will be lit in the evenings for special campfire entertainment. During the day, the theater will debut a new Camp Snoopy show and offer more shade and a larger stroller parking area.

Also, don't miss the updated dining hall, with new décor and menu items, new family restrooms, and an immersive new Snoopy Camp Store with all the essentials needed for camp and then some.

I think the theatre and updated dining hall are the more important additions, I am just surprised they didn't do this last year for the anniversary, took out Twister and Camp Bus, and announced this just now.

Also considering Knotts once had Soap Box Racers, I am surprised they did not get a clone of the Vekoma at KI.

Also still no word on Motezooma...

Now they need to add some innovative flats by the Xcelarator mid-way, and CF plus it up.

That would be a preview of the logo for the reimagined "Camp Snoppy" under the new Six Flags banner.

I wonder if Zamperla will be tasked with the Monty "redux" and whether the Camp "Snoppy" updates will make room for footers for that project?

If you look at the video posted the new train goes right behind the Off Roaders, which means it has to go where Monty is now or really close to it, to connect to station and loading area as of now.

I do wonder if suing the company that was working on it, why have not found another manufacturer to take over, but if need evidence maybe?

My point being that it would be feasible to keep the Monty station in place and turn it into a full circuit ride with more than once launch perhaps, threading around Camp Snoopy and perhaps a bit with Jaguar and Silver Bullet.

The rumblings I have heard indicate that the firm that started the work on Monty botched things up pretty bad and then bailed. I would think that eventually they will have to find someone to come in and clean up the mess.
