Zamperila Mystery

Back in 2000, Rye, Playland was supposed to have opened up a new zamperla coaster called Wild-Wind. It contained one inversion and was completely built and tested. Before the ride opened, there was an article in the local newspaper saying that the ride would have to be dismantled for pulling to many positive G's. The article later stated the coaster would be replaced in time for the next season. In late August, the park recieved a Chance Inverter, maybe the replacement the park wanted. What do you think will happen to Playland in 2001? Will they recieve a coaster, or was the deal with Zamperla cancelled?

Sorry for the mispelling of Zamperla to all who are offended. :(
Anyway, I checked zamperla's websight and have even tried to email them a few times during the past year. There is not a trace of the coaster I saw being built nor have they responded. The track was a reddish orange and the supports, silver/white.

Zamperala coasters have been less then spectatcular lately. I would recommend that you check their website and see if that ride is available for sale.
Hey guys, its spelled ZAMPERLA. If you're going to talk about them, at least get the name right.
