Z40 - Been on one?

I know this is a little vague, but I’m looking for some feedback from people who have had a chance to ride a Pinfari Z40.

I know it isn’t a major coaster, but considering what it is what did you think?

Thanks for your help.

Putting the 'odd' in Todd since 1976...
I've only been on one; it's a model that travels (traveled?) with Strates Shows, although it hasn't been present at the NY State Fair since 2003 (the last time I rode it). The ride is okay for what it is, but don't expect much from it. The drops are pretty steep, although they don't provide any real airtime. The helix is rather dull, but it has some surprising laterals when the curve straightens out. In terms of the overall ride experience, it is not quite as good as a Galaxi, Wildcat, or Z47, although I don't really care much for that coaster style anyway, so you may have a better experience.
I've always considered the Zyklons Z-40 to Z-64 to be the weakest of the genre. The first drop does not go all the way to the ground and the helices are pretty slow. I think the Galaxies are somewhat better and the Wildcats much, much better.

Rollie's Coaster at Morey's is a Z-40....nothing to write home about. WAY (miles, no light-years) better than RC-48.

Personally, I'd take a Galaxi or a Wildcat instead...*any* day... ;)

I've been on three of them. None made much of an impression.

I've been on two Z40's...King at the now defunct Nashville Valley and the previously mentioned Rollie's Coaster at Morey's. Neither left that big of an impression on me. I agree with everyone else on the Wildcat and Galaxi preferences over Z40. The Pinfari ZL42 looper like Beech Bend's Brief Encounter (formerly Looping Star) is fairly wild and has the tightest loop I believe I've ever experienced.

Sealing yourself inside a refridgerator box filled with broken bricks and rolling down a hill onto a highway filled with moving traffic would be better than a ride on an RC-48.
