Youtube coastering

It seems that random people around the world like to videotape themselves on coasters and post the video on youtube. There are actually some very seldom seen coasters on there, including an SLC in Beijing I posted about earlier (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FkdYnDjaJyw).

I've found a few more unique ones:

Full POV of Surf Coaster at Sea Paradise in Japan: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P4Aq50XblH8

The 139ft tall Montezum at Hopi Hari in Brazil: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7glF4fmh7r4

Small looper somewhere else in Brazil? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZahGWgsWEM4

A great Dragon Mountain POV of the whole ride: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y1kCdRWU8qY

Hanging Coaster at Dream World, Thailand: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W4ea1fA20JI

If you just search for "roller coaster" there are currently 607 videos, including Powder Keg, Incredible Hulk, Elitch's Twister, Riddler's Revenge, Clementon Jack Rabbit... a ton of them! Note: Sorry if these seems like an ad for youtube, its not, I just thought enthusiasts might like to see some of these videos, especially the ones of coasters we rarely ever see. Jeff, if posts like this aren't ok let me know!

Cool! Nice to finally see Dragon Mountain. Wow. I heard the theming was incomplete, but man, I didn't think it was THAT incomplete. Still all of the scenery is very nice.

Speaking of the theming....a while back, someone posted that the volcano was being worked on. Any updates?

Wow. Dragon Mountain is an... interesting coaster? Uses the terrain very nicely. However, it took 100 seconds just to get off the chainlift. And then the ride it self is only 100 seconds, so there really is no need for the block brakes that are scattered throughout the course, because no train would be close enough behind to catch up.

Welcome back, red train, how was your ride?!
Ive got a Avalanche vid on there. The quality sucks due to taking a 60mb file and shrinking it to fit their 100mb limit.

BTW, The POV was aproved by the manager

There are somewhat irregular updates on www.accessniagara.com/blog (you may have to date back to a week or two ago).

The volcano looks almost complete, but it doesn't appear that they are working on the Niagara Falls re-creation because the photos where they are taken would have the Niagara Falls re-creation directly below the Volcano re-creation, and it's nothing but rock now. Hopefully someone will go there & give us an update.

Watching that video, I was reminded of DAK's Expedition Everest. All the mountian scenery is really cool. The coaster seems to be a mine train with some inversions. I don't care what people say about it, I am still anxious to ride this someday. :)

I definately think that the google video option is better.

Yeah its so cool to break park rules and video tape yourself on coasters. And lets not forget how cool it is to endanger every one's safety by the possbility getting hit inthe head with a camera. F N TOOLS! *** Edited 5/10/2006 11:15:43 PM UTC by BG Nut***

I miss Drachen Fire

Well in some cases it's obvious rule brakage. However in my post above I had permission of the highest employee there

So, NEENER, NEENER little brat and there was nobody else on the ride.

Sorry, but could you point out exactly who is doing that here?

^also, how do you know the park rules at Hopi Hari? At Sea Paradise? I only posted links to coasters outside the US. I personally would never videotape on a ride that cameras were prohibited on.
Also RollerCoasterPro has very good quality POVs of coasters and other rides.
