Your Personnal Coaster Theme(long)

Hey all. I was thinking of this the other day and I decided to make it a post. If you could have your own coaster with a heavy theme of your choice what would it be.
For me, I would theme it to the classic cult horror movie Evil Dead. I would call the ride Within the Woods(a short thirty minute movie Sam Raimi made to fund the making of Evil Dead). Now for anyone who has seen this movie, or is a horror buff like me, you would know that the setting for this ride would have to be in a heavily wooded area, with some sort of really oversized replica cabin that depicts the cabin from the movie.
As for the ride itself, I would make it a launched Intamin inverted. At the beginning of the ride, you would be launched from 0-65 mph into the wooded area setting(the evil spirit is chasing you throughout the woods...hehehe). After taking a twister and inversion filled chase through the woods, you'll speed into the cabin. In the cabin you'll slow down to an almost complete stop and be hung facing straight down. In the cabin, everyone thinks they are safe from the evil, but all of the sudden, the cellar door opens(again for fans of the movie, check out the detail) and we plunge a good 160 ft. down into the oversized replica of the cabin cellar, speeding along extremely fast, we get thrown into another twisted and inversion filled course completely underground in darkness! All of the sudden we get stopped almost instantaneously completely undeground, and out of nowhere(and in a scary, freaky, manner) the image of the demon spirit comes speeding towards us, and we get accelerated by LIM motors into a huge special effects filled vortex, filled with 3 zero-g rolls, when all of the sudden we are back in the station. Sounds pretty good huh? Thanks to anyone who sat here and read my whole idea. I would like to hear anyone elses personall themes too!
Post 'em up!

Anyone got any ideas?

I would like to see an LIM launched Coaster themed to Star Wars. I think that might be cool. Better yet, a dueling LIM Floorless coaster themed to star Wars with one being X-Wings and the other one TIE fighters.

(Sorry for the 3rd grade paragraph structure. My writing skills tend to taper off when I'm multitasking.)

You build it, I'll ride it
Then the Evil posesses your hand and you raise it in the air away from your body then WHAM! It's knocked off by chainsaw while the mounted deer head laughs at you! ;)

Don't forget the trains can be themed to be old LTD's or whatever that boat is they go to the cabin in. After Evil Dead the Ride there is the sequil(SP?) Army of Darkness. ;)

Good call Coasterpunk. For an Army of Darkness ride, I wasn't thinking of a ride. Ya know how Mr. Freeze has a transfer track that transfers a train, when one leaves? Well I would have two seperate stations for Within the Woods. After you get sucked into the vortex at the end of the ride(like in ED 2) you'll end up in a seperate station which is now in 1300 AD like in Army of Darkness, and it will be like the castle from Army of Darkness.

Actually I'd love to see a dueling suspended coaster built called Axis vs. Allies or probably Aces High so older people wouldn't get offended. The cars would be themed as WWII figher planes. The planes would be American, and British fighters on one side and Greman and Jap on the other. The layout would resemble a dog fight with lots of head ons and near misses. Lots of climbs and dives too.

That's an awesome idea. I could imagine something like that. Especially since the Immleman was named after a WWII German fighter that invented the dive. I could see the layout containing steep dives and lots and lots of immlemans and zero-g rolls.

Then you'd need to mount water 'machine' guns to the front of the 'planes' so that they can shoot at the enemy trains.

Everytime I start on a ride , the music starts in my head . To be pushed around by something like Apollo's Carriot hearing music , loud music , without headphones and not sounding like a car radio with the windows rolled down would be an experience I would have to design into a ride . Even though the percentage of people who would really like this is probally lower than those it would bother .
How about someone does a a three way dueling coaster...that would rule

I had thought of a dueling CCI woodie, but make one quite a bit larger than the other 110-125 foot for the larger and 75-90 foot for the smaller. It would be themed to The Adventures of Don Quixote and Sancho Panza. The larger, Don Quixote, would be an out and back airtime monster, ala Shivering Timbers. The smaller, Sancho Panza, would be a twister that dashes in and out of the structure of the Don Quixote track. Here is the kicker. Make it a continuos track so that if you get in line for DQ, you would exit the station of SP!

Gotta ride 'em all!
How about a dueling-hyper,I made one on RCT called GODZILLA VS. KINGKONG.Two giant coasters with two giant names.
I love the idea of a dogfight themed coaster, but what if it were a flying coaster?? (ex. Stealth)
oooh, ahhh :)

LOL, I just watched that last night. Army of darkness pales in comparisson to the masterpiece that is Evil Dead two. Anyways I always thought a blue angels theme would be good for a series of 5 dueling inverts. But Five intertwining B&M Flyers would be mouthwatering. And they could shoot out fog from the back of the train for added effect. They could also have lazers mounted on the front and side seats to shoot at the other trains on flybys.

I could see this happening in 20 years or so hehe.

My personal themed coaster would be a Parrothead one. Gotta be steel, the track painted bright pink and yellow, the supports in teal.

It would be a very smooth coaster, no inversions, but lots of airtime hills and overbanked turns to make it feel like you were riding waves.

Trains would have to be themed to look like a boat. Lots of water under and around...a tropical waterfall (maybe the coaster could slip behind the waterfall), tropical plantings. The station would be a Tiki Hut theme with bamboo walls and thatched roof.

And lots of Jimmy Buffet and steel drum music

I most of the time always think of Superman and Batman. Even though Six Flags has the lincse for those rides, I still think of them. I chose a man and then think of a part in the movie I could recrete as a ride. I do it most of the time in rct2. I would like to have those rides in my park when I finally get the money when I'm near 35.
