If drinking too much water can kill you, then anything can.

I think I'm more likely to die from my next bumper car ride at Knoebels since I usually get at least one death threat a night! :)

Actually, my daughter did this for a science fair project. We took one of those blood pressure and heartbeat monitors to several parks with several people and checked readings before, during and after. I was one of the subjects.

It showed very little jump in heartbeat or systolic or diastolic pressure. Wooden coasters, including Beast, Mean Streak, Thunderbolt, Raven, Legend and Thunderhead. Phantom's Revenge and the other hypers showed little jump. The only jumps were on loopers, but the jumps were not threatening, not more than 15%.

Then we tried the spinning rides like Octopus, Chaos, etc. They did cause significant jumps.

So stick to coasters and avoid flats.

So a coaster could kill me? OK, It's not like I was going to die at some point in time anyway? Give me a break! We'll here's my question, For the genius who wrote this article Please give us some insight as to how we can live forever. Nothing like someone writing an article informaing the rest of the world that something could kill you. Yeah, thanks for the info. Now I will have to think twice before power riding a ride.On the second thouht, no thanks, I will just have to risk it!

100% of all people who died in 2003 had consumed water within 48 hours of their death. Obviously, we should avoid water.

Personally, I think there is no better way to die, then on a coaster or during sex.;)

When I die I want my ashes to be put on the tallest coaster in the world, then blown off going down the first drop.

Don't people realize that things I do daily are at more risk then riding a rollercoaster even 100 times in a row.

I think I'll take the chance.
