As you can see I am having a little too much fun with this;) ------------- I'd Rather Be Riding Rollercoasters

Kind of ashame that, for the most part, all of these sattelite images are from 1995.
It'd be nice if they'd do a 6th year update. So much can change in 6 years. Not only your hometown addition of new streets or whatnots,
But amusement parks too!!
You really never know how small/large the park is until you've seen it from above (CP looks huge in satellite while Great Escape looks puny!)
FYI - Terraserver's most recent images are unavailable due to some server crash. This occured on April 14th, and they expect to have them up - eventually. I noticed today - I was searching for some recent BGW pics I swore I had seen - but I couldn't find them. I went to the "What's New" section, and they have the explanation there.
Also of note, the newer (and currently down) sat pics use a third party viewer which is installed online. It's called "Clever Content". And it's very clever, indeed. It somehow prevents people from grabbing a "print screen" shot of the map and saving it on their own. So you HAVE to buy the pics if you like them. Kind of like - "Look but don't touch". I've actually spent a little time underground to see if anyone's been able to get around this, but I haven't seen anyone beat it! Props to MS for the technology behind that. Anyways, if you haven't seen these newer images that require Clever Content, check them out when the server comes back online - they're newer and clearer than the typical photos available now. - epc0t
