Your fav seat on Roller Coasters

What is your fav. seat on the roller coaster? And Why? And which is the best seat? I like the back seat because u get the best feeling when u go down on the drops.
The front and back on all coasters. The front because of the view and it is just awsome, and the back because of airtime and what you said, that feeling you get in your stomach.

C-C: I think the 9-2 stands for ninth car - second row....
I believe the best seat on a rollercoaster varies from each ride. For the view on ANY rollercoaster, it's the front. For the air-time, maximum speed while still going down the hill, etc is the back. The middle combines a little bit of both. Fav spot on the raptor is the death seat, fav spot on magnum is very back, fav spot on mf is in the middle somewhere, matis is the front right!! Love em all.. I don't really care where I sit. Just as long as I'm on the darn thing!! :)

I'm a visual type person that loves the view in the front seat.

It really depends on the coaster, sun or dark, if there is a girl behind you that can scream right through you. LOL

Boulder Dash has no bad seats.
(got engaged on opening day)
Phoenix 3rd row of the 1st car is phenomenal.
(5th row is dead)
Shivering Timbers just happy to have ridden 21 times at TimbersFest with my fiance.
(closest thing to sex, I've ever experienced!?!)
(don't tell my fiance, LOL)
Montu and Alpengeist front for visual.
Face/Off front and rear.

I could go on forever, CoasterEd.

My favorite seat is the one that has the shortest line leading to it. I like to get on and go regardless of where the hell im sitting. But the ONLY good seat on an inverted is the front.
The back seat on every coaster I have been on so far. I like to feeling of being whipped over the top of the hills!
I personally like the front because you get a total unobstructed view of the track and get the wind in your face. I like the back a lot too, and I am happy just to ride the coaster, but my favorite is the front. I haven't ridden one yet but I would imagine that the front seat on a floorless is extremely cool. The front seat on the Beast at Paramount's Kings Island is a must, it's a blast.
I like to experience the front and back of every coaster I ride, because both seats have their advantages over each other. On Magnum, I go with back. The airtime isn't as good as the ejector seat, but it's close, and I love being whipped over that first drop! I like the very front of the Mean Streak because it's actually smooth (and it was smooth before CP added trims to the first drop, too), and I like front on floorless (BKF was cool).

I have a question. I have had a CP season pass for 11 years and have never heard of the death seat on the Raptor. WHere is it, and what is so special about it? I actually am excited because I want to check this out!
I love the back on woodies

My favorite seats are the very back and very front. My favorite seat all time is the very last row on the MF.

It all depends on the coaster! Generally I like the pacing in the back seat.

However, depending on the radius of the hills, the airtime differs from front to back. Some coasters have more air in front and some coasters have more air in back. Remember, front cars are faster on the upslope and backcars are faster on downslopes. This is why backseat air is usually more of a pulling, violent type than the front.

Still, the best air on any coaster I have experienced is the *repeated* stand up air on Phoenix from the ejector seat -- which isn't front or back, it is row 3. Crzy airtime!

Well, I like to ride the front and back on every coaster, but I love the back more than any other seat. I'm the kind of person who loves the first drop almost more than any other element on the ride, and the first drop is nothing in front seat, you are already heading downwards still going 5mph, because the rest of the train has yet to make it to the top of the hill. While the back get pulled over the first hill and the rest of the way.
Ejector Seat!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The death seat on Raptor, I believe is the last row on the far right hand side(first seat as you get into that row). On the drop you swing right over the midway. Also the front right on Mantis as you hit the dip before the drop, it feels like you are going to fall out!
