You CAN load old saved games into RCT 2 but...

There is a way you can load old saved games into RCT 2, but there's really not much point to it. First of all, to load the game from RCT 1, go to the Scenario Editor and click load new landscape. From there, choose which saved game you wish to load and presto! It's there. It also works for your old tracks too. Simply open up the Track Designs Manager and click install new track design. Choose the track you want to load and presto again! It's there.

Ok, so why does loading old parks into RCT 2 suck? Because the new game removes all the stalls and rides you placed in the first game. Also, all the buildings (if there are any) will just be formed mounds of dirt and that's it. The wall colorings are gone because there are no more wall colorings. They are all part of scenery now, so the game doesn't recognize the old wall colors.

So, for those of you who just HAVE to load an old game into RCT 2, then there you go. I've done it just for the landscaping I did and nothing else. To not have to go through the chore of landscaping another park is always a good thing! :)

I guess that sucks. Don't tell me CPNut just said that, he said "I guess that just (some other word not in the dictionary.)" I hate internet lingo...
