While standing in line for Superman: Ride of Steel, I witnessed another cell phone incident at a Six Flags park. As a train was nearly stopped a large flash and bang erupted from one of the brakes. They of course instantly shut the ride down. This flash and bang startled everyone in line as it was totally unexpected. What caused it? A cell phone had fallen out of someones pocket and had been tossed out of the car as the train was stopping. It was thrown into the brake where it was terminated in the "FLASH" on an instant. They then had to remove all the little parts that had become stuck to the magnets. It took about 20 minutes but they did get it running again.
Ouch!

I need to get something off my chest. WOULD ALL YOU IDIOTS THAT HAVE CELL PHONES STOP TAKING THEM ON WITH YOU WHEN YOU RIDE! IT'S EVEN WORSE WHEN PEOPLE TAKE THEM OUT DURING THE RIDE! Why is it that Six Flags is the only park that has this problem?
What is this i hear about japan getting a bigger coaster then MF? Can someone please tell me about it? Becasue one of my friends said they heard it on the news. I was just wondering if they were kidding or not.
It's true. It's called Steel Dragon 2000. It's already open at Nagasaki Spaland and is 318 feet high (8 feet taller than the Force). It's made by D.H. Morgan and is over 8000 feet in length. For more information, go to http://www.thrillride.com/2000preview/nagspacoaster/nsc.html . In my heart, Millenium Force is still the tallest (what's an extra 8 feet??). I'm riding it tomorrow, hehehe.

Thanks for filling me in on that!
OOOOOh wow 8 feet talller than the force. I msut ride it now!!!
( These come straight from Thrillride.com):
This rumor came straight from the general manager of the park while construction was beginning on top Spin.
He said the park is working with GCI to plan the world tallest, fastest, and longest racing coasters. Can't wait to see about this one!!!!

While auditioning for a job at the Marquee Theater inside SFDL. I was told by park management that they will be getting 3 roller coasters next year along with new water slides and between 5-10 new flat rides. He said 2 of the coasters will be Batman themed and put in a new Gotham City area located behind The Marquee Theater, across from S:ros. Now he confirmed the CCI wooden coaster. However he said they will be getting a Standup, probably built by B&M. However the third coaster is already built but in another park and hasn't operated for the past few seasons. Now I'm guessing it's gonna be Drachen Fire. He didn't say what 2 would be Batman themed but he did say that the existing coaster will receive a major renovation.

Has Busch Gardens Williamsburg's Drachen Fire really found a new home?
Drachen Fire has been sold to six flags Darien lake for $4,500,000. : )
