Sorry Jeff! I've been really busy this week and haven't posted much. I promise humor, common sense, and intelligence will return after I get home from PPP ;-)

I wonder if Vekoma will again show up with their insane giant booth and leather furniture. Was kind of funny to see that last year only a couple weeks after announcing bankruptcy.
-----------------
Maybe it was more like a garage sale to sell the fancy furniture off and make a few bucks. Didn't you see the price tags hanging from the chairs?
-----------------
The same cosy leather furniture graced the Vekoma booth during INTERSCHAU in Düsseldorf in january. Not only did they have smoother furniture than the others, their booth was more crowded and livelier than any other. Actually the mood was more like a party than a bankrupt company with everybody losing their jobs (Or maybe just because...). I was very surprised that some of the Vekoma people were very open about the bad state their company was in. I was expecting more secrecy and tight lips.
Talk about smoking and drinking (which is both allowed, somewhat expected at INTERSCHAU): The INTAMIN booth was crowded with what seemed to be the wifes of the INTAMIN people (or maybe it WAS the INTAMIN people) who all had too much champagne, crackers, and cheap perfume and tried not to fall off their barstools. The posters of MF in the background never looked the same to me.
Sadly INTERSCHAU is only a bi-annual tradeshow. I cant wait for the next one!
