X's real name?

I have heard so many names given out for X but no real one. What does thta X stand for?

Names i have heard

1.Xsctacy

2.Xtreme

3.Xciting

4.X=Unkown
My Idea

X means X or like a government black project Project X or something.

X= uknown was probably the idea. It would not be Project X sence a coaster at Legoland has that name.
X stands for Xtremely unoperational:)  I think it actually is refer to the fact that it is considered a 4-Dimension, sort of the unknown dimension.
X, because it's a unkown and never been done.  It's a prototype, so it gets a informal name.

Montu, God Of Coasters

Raging Bull, Don't Fight It, Ride It

maybe they couldn't think of a name so they gave it a letter.
I think Xtreme sounds cool ! Or mabey it is just  there code name for 4th Dimension, Like Alton Towers has Secret Weapon and they just keep it it's code name. Who knows.

X is an overall cool name, plain, simple, and the logo makes it look "High Tech" .

Deja Vu's first run on media day through the banner: "That's a 65mph papercut!"
Maybe it has something to do with the X-Box.
Maybe the real name was going to be Viper, but then there was already another coaster at SFMM with the same name so they decided to just pick a letter. LOL

Drive to theme parks for the food, stay for the coasters!! Knott's Fried Chicken

who knows, obviously its just X as in unknown, you know they arent gonna change the name to "Xtreme" or anything cuz that would be a waste money on all those t shirts and shot glasses ;)

maybe the shape of the seats on the vehicle?  I know its a stretch but it seems to fit.
Here's a thought that's too easy; Generation X. Just a thought.

Batwing-Bow Down

How about calling it X-mas, should be around when its open. Just a little joke.

If I were CEO of SF, I would think to myself.....Lets just name it X, then everyone will come up with their own opinion and debate about it.  (Kind of like the "33" on the Rolling Rock bottles) :)
Has anyone thought of "X"? Thats a simple answer.

I want my Hay Bayler back! Forget new rides! HAY BAYLER! While they are at it, why not bring back Tidal Wave too?
The first two drops also form the letter X. Supposedly Gary Story saw an early drawing and simply said, "X".

So Gary is responsible for that awful name?  He's sure responsible for just about everything else that sucks about Six Flags, so why am I not surprised?
LOL!  I hold Gary responsible for most of SF bonehead decisions.

You mean like putting a coaster called "Medusa" in an old-west themed area and painting it greenish-yellow and purple. There was a really skillful theme decision.

"As far as I can tell it doesn't matter who you are. If you can believe, there's something worth fighting for..." - Garbage, "Parade"

More likely than not, it stands for the letter X.  Nothing more.  Not a bad idea, really, because it keeps people like us talking about the ride even though it has yet to open.
