Xcelerator Upsidedown?

Just reading some old news and i noticed that cnn did a article on xcelerator, and it mentions it going upside down. I've never been on xcelerator(only dragster), but does it really go upside down?

Well, if you read it on the internet, it must be true!

No, Xcelerator doesn't go upside down, it does have overbanked turns, which SOME people claim are inversions, but most people agree that they are not.

I think cnn should do a little research before posting articles, check out underneath the picture, the caption actually mentions it going upside down!

I came across that first and I sent CNN a correction about it. Never got any kind of response from them though. I love how they even describe it as upside down in their caption!

This makes no sense. The photographer took an upside-down shot of the top hat, so CNN could say it goes upside down.

Actually the photographer had nothing to do with it. The picture was merely rotated 90* when placed on the CNN webpage.

Ok...I knew it had to be there...Sometimes I have such a problem with searching on here...I searched for CNN and sorted it by date and nothing came up that was newer than 4/23/03...go figure

I saw this picture, rolled on the floor in laughter, then decided to become a journalist to try to fix stuff like this. Unfortunately, I'd probably end up butchering another person/group's hobby or favortie pastime.
