One of Xcelerator's towers has had track placed, as we see the ride starting to take shape. The brake run has been finished and they are busy constructing the transfer track as well as working on the actual launch mechanism for the ride. The station's foundation was also laid on Friday.
The Disneyland Resort and Magic Mountain are also covered in this Westcoaster.net update.

Great to see that construction is runnig smooth in SoCal. I predict it should ope right on time.
Thanks for the pics, and I fell for your little joke, Mr. Disney. that was funny. Also, I liked the Norwaycoaster.net, LOL.

Coming Soon: Coasters "American" Style.
"Jim...whadd'ya think...vertcial construction done in about 2 weeks if not sooner? Seems like they're about 1/4 done already. "
It's getting to the point where I'd start placing bets! But I'd be amazed (at least if the weather holds out), that we're looking at just a few more weeks of vertical contstruction needed. They've begun work on the station as well, and today they placed two of the supports for the second overbank turn.

MWFreak - I agree, but that's what you get with such a short track. Upon looking at the construction site I envisioned the second overbanked turn [the one that threads the top hat] spiraling down into a helix and a brakerun closer to ground level....oh well, they didn't ask me to design the thing! Regardless, I'm thrilled ;-)

Now that would've been nice! But a helix at that speed would be sure to pull 4.5G's or so... easily... and constant too!
