Xcelerator is open

I read a report on RRC that says Xcelerator is open, with very few (1) modifications. Anyone know more?

I know that they had closed the ride via state recommendation to deal with the new seatbelt issue on Intamin rides.

Maybe they have all the belts relooped (gah..) now and the ride is ready to thrill again.

Yes, I can verify that the ride was open yesterday. I spent about 4 hours at Knott's (although I didn't ride Xcel) mainly because a friend of mine had never been there. I'll have to get back soon to see what changes (if any) were made to the ride, but from the ground the ride looked about the same to me, and looked to be running great.

Anybody know exactly what was done to XCel's restraints? Did they leave the seatbelts alone, or were they shortened? I know they put a go/no-go gauge on the lapbar, but was that it?
