I'm with you there, Mr. G-lix....Joon can't come too soon....

...Neither can the end of school...

Anyways, Mike, the color schemes almost the same, except Xcelerator's track is less orange and the supports are more blue-ish green.

BTW CCXXV will be my 1st coaster event

GR, X, Xcel re-rides baby!

Is it me or was this the fastest construction job on a coaster. Even Wicked Twister took longer. I know the launch still has to be done, but darn!!
36 days! Got to be some sort of record....

Doctor: Congratulations, Mr and Mrs Knotts. Its a baby Intermin.
Mrs Knotts: OOhhh ... He has his fathers tracks.
Mr Knotts: And what a big Top Hat you have! It seems familiar ... I cant place it.
Mr Hypersonic: With an evil grin ... Kinda looks familiar ... Launcher too. I cant place where Ive seen that before ...

Mrs Knotts winks. Mr Hypersonic winks.
Mr Knotts is just happy to have a new addition to the family!

Well done, Knotts and Cedar Fair. See you in October!

as for the actual working days (monday-friday), since the coaster was started 3/18 (not including those two pieces of track that went up and then came doen) and was finished yesterday, the total days comes to 29 days. don't know where 36 came from. i don't think that the launch will take too long to wire. they did some work on the launch when the wind picked up last week, and now the launch equipment is covered in a building, so i don't expect much more work there. i think that if knotts hurries up, they could be testing by the week of the 6th, but they need to do alot of work on the station. right now its just a foundation with a cement "box" on it. i think that the coaster can be open by the 25th of may, but there can be no rain. thats only 30 days away, so they need to wok just as quickly on the station.
Wait, the pictures aren't up yet are they?

"the total days comes to 29 days"

Does it really matter, Eddie?

Some pics are now up at www.twistedrails.com. Does anybody have an idea when they will send the first train on it?

Westcoaster updates usually come @ around 9:30 PM West Time.

BTW, I counted days wrong. Vertical construction was 37 days if you count first vertical construction, then being taken day. It is far more if you count footer pouring and ground prep. which started 1-26 according to Twisted Rails.

Funny stuff The Legend... poor Mr. Knott :) Sadly, Mr. & Mrs. Knott (the originals) are both dead and won't get to ride this orange freak...:(

Can't wait to see the 2 updates!

westcoaster's update (just 2 pages) is up as of 9 pm Pacific time.

Good update! Can't wait for usual 5-8 page Westcoaster update on Sat. Still no Twisted Rails update yet as of 9:02 PM West Time (aside from preview)...:(

That things truly a monstrosity...that 2nd overbank is gonna pull some G's!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YEA BABY!

Can't wait to try this sucka'!

does anyone know how many Gs the coaster will pull. the launch pulls a long 2.2 g's. in an interview b/w westcoaster's jim disney and jack falas, manager of knotts, it was said the coaster needed to be modified because of very high g foces.
Do you know how frustrating it is to watch the birth of such an amazing coaster and not be sure if you can ride it?

Knotts might have just built the best firing line coaster ever. I haven't ridden Hypersonic or Dodonpa, but I would rather stand in line for this beast, personally. Yum!

What a funny baby you are!
I don't know what to be more excited about Xcelerator being done or the RCT2 announcement. LOL!!!

Well you've gotta give a round of applause to those guys at United Riggers & Erectors! Those guys definitely know how to put a coaster up fast. One month til we get our first TR!
