Well, I don't have an X-Box and won't be getting one, but this sounds like a pretty solid mix to me.

Sexy Planet, CSFILSM and remixes of two of my favorite songs (Aboslute and Insertion)... good stuff.

It's weird... I bought an X-Box and Gamecube (and later a PS2) as soon as I lost my job two years ago. Now that I'm out on the street again, I find myself firing them up again!

It would be really nice if someone was clever enough to come up with an adapter so the pads could be used on both systems, because I'm really itchin' to play this one and download new crap.

Holy cow... I just watched some video of the game... it looks *incredible.*

The look is different than any of the arcade mixes, and the arrows scroll so smoothly... it makes the PS2 versions look like Konamix. The dancers look unbelieveably cool.

Not only that, you can play 3- or 4-player mode! And you can play battle mode over the internet.

It's still not enough for me to blow N-dollars on an X-Box, though, 'cause this is the only game I'd be interested in buying. Heck my PS2 sits unused most of the time.

It was worth it for me to buy the PS2 for DDR... (the only games I own are Konamix, DDRMAX, MAX2, Parappa the Rapper 2 and Gradius)... but to buy two systems for DDR... plus another pad... that's a little ridiculous. :)

Now I am looking forward to getting a GameCube for Christmas, which has a lot more of the type of game I like to play (i.e. Mario Golf, Mario Sunshine, Mario Kart, Mario Party 4... notice a theme?). I'm dying to try out Animal Crossing, too.

Don't forget, Mario Party 5 comes out in December! My wife, friends and I have worn Mario Party 4 out.

Mario Golf is a ton of fun too.

Pinball and Coasters...Any Questions?

I haven't played Party 4 yet, but I have played the other three a ton. I went through the entire story mode of Party 3 with all six characters.... that took a LONG time, but it was worth it to see all the characters' heads on Mt. Starmore, or whatever it's called. ;)

My brother and I still have almost weekly competitions on Mario Golf. Toadstool Tour is cool, but not as good.

Oh my yes... Then add in Mech Assault.

Each current console has titles that make them must-haves for me. In defiance of the market, my PS2 is actually the system that gets the LEAST use (although that's about to change, now that I've picked up Castlevania: Lament of Innocence). For my Gamecube, we've got F-Zero GX and Monkey Ball 2 (just recently completed Metroid Prime). For the XBox, lately it's been Fatal Frame, even more Mech Assault, and Soul Calibur 2 (generally when a game goes cross-platform, I end up with the XBox version).

And that "PS2 gets the least use" is in spite of having DDR Konamix. ;)

I too just saw the video...and wow, does it look good. Buuuuut! I don't think it's worth getting an X-Box for.

Although the videos look good and it seems to have smooth-as-glass framerate...it looks like the song list lacks, big time.

I only counted 42 songs...only 42. Now i know that there are more songs to be unlocked, but according to the official Ultramix website, there are only 9 unlockable songs...meaning 51 total songs...

There are more 9fters in DDR EXTREME alone than there are the total number of songs in Ultramix.

Exactly. And halo 2 is just mind-blowing, can't wait till it comes out.

On to the topic at hand. Looks like a solid list, i'll have to check it out. The question is where was I? I had never heard that it was going to XBOX. ( I must have been at a halo party/tournament or watching the matrix)

My feeling is that if they follow through on X-Box Live content, this will easily be the best version ever. There are some favorites of mine in that list. The actual pads available for the box will have a lot to do with whether or not I buy it though.

I belive they are coming out with a converter so you can use your PS2 pads, or at least thats what it says on that site.

I think the date has been pushed up to the 18th of this month as well. I was/am pretty pleased with the Konami official pads released with MAX2, so I'm not worried about decent pads for the XBox version. I'm getting the bundle anyway.

As for Halo, I've never owned it for my XBox. To me, that was the last reason to buy it. FPSs were made for controls that are more accurate than an XBox controller. I got my box for the Sega games.... JSRF, Otogi, Panzer Dragoon, Sega GT, etc.

And, BTW, I got Karaoke Revolution today as well. Pretty fun, even though you can pretty much pass any song by humming it.... (no serious voice recognition).

Weird... I prefer the game controllers to the keyboard-mouse combo. I'm waiting for Max Payne 2 for that very reason.

Hey Chris, tell us more about Karaoke Revolution! Is it worth buying.. or renting? Does it come with a microphone? How does the game work?

Re: DDR X-Box 4-player mode, I really don't think I could find three other people who would play more than one song without giving up.
