X to open to 2001 season pass holders Christmas Eve

Hey! X just happens to open to the public on my birthday...Too bad I live in NJ.

okay, is this for six flags season passes from any six flags park, i.e. would my six flags marine world season pass work for any of those dates? It seems like they specifically single out Magic Mountain season passes.

Hmmm.....well I'm sure that many public riders will just look at this monster and walk away. I know for a fact that 2 of my friends won't go on this beast unless we drag them in, which will not be the first time :)

The ride was promised to be open in time for summer on Magic Mountain's season pass renewal form. As a way of saying that they are sorry for the delay, those who purchased season passes for 2001 at MAGIC MOUNTAIN are allowed ERT prior to ANY other patrons. Sorry all other SF passholders, you'll have to wait til January 12th.

That's not true, GreatAdventureAddict. The park you purchase your pass from is above your pic on your pass. Secondily, Im sure the necessary info is on the card (name, park purchased from, date of purchase) for validation.

GreatAdventureAddict:  First of all, please turn off your formatting when you respond to a post - that will take care of all of those miscellaneous symbols.  And as for your last comment - our SFMM season passes for 2001 have the name of the park on them - that's how they'll know we will be the ones allowed to ride.  I'll be there on the 24th with bells on!!

I just called SF and the person said a 2002 Magic Mountain pass will be good at the event.  If your season pass holder at a different park, renew it a Magic Mountain and you'll get into the event.

I'm there on the 24th! Let's see now....front? back? left side? right side? What the hell...try `em all!

And you guys deserve it after being soooo patient! Let's just hope it doesn't have any down time. Now to check those airline fares between Ohio and Calif.....:) Merry Christmas to all. What a present!

BTW, my birthday is on the 22nd!

That is sweet.  Too bad that I'm leaving to go to Orlando the morning of the 24th.  Oh well, at least there are a few coasters that I'll get to ride while I'm in Florida.  :)  I'll have to head up to the Mountain in early January, after I get back on New Years and ride that beast.

When I called SFMM they said my SFOG season pass would get me in.

I''ve called a couple of times. Last time being a couple of minutes ago and the person I talked to said it was for MM season pass holders ONLY. In addition a 2002 MM season pass will also get you on X.
